Best dMAT prep in 2026: the practice platforms, compared on what actually matters.

By NinjaMinds · Figures checked against each site on 3 September 2026 · 7 min read

The dMAT is new to India, and a crop of practice sites appeared with it — including ours. Most comparisons you will find are written by the site being compared, so let us be upfront: this one is too. What we can do is keep it factual: every number below is what each site publishes about itself, checked on the date above, and we say plainly where we are weaker. Rules and dates for the exam itself belong to the official dMAT website and APS India's dMAT page, not to any prep site.

Where we are weaker — said plainly

Our free set is untimed. It now spans every section at every level — twelve questions, one from each section at Easy, Medium and Hard, refreshed regularly, each with the full worked explanation — which is enough to judge our questions and our explanations, but it is not a timed block. Two competitors let you sit a free timed mini-mock before paying, and for judging pace that is the fairer test-drive. We chose to put the effort into the paid bank and the explanations, and to keep the price low, but if you want to feel a full timed block for free first, dmatprep.io and prepdmat.com let you. We would also point out that we are days old to search engines and have no third-party reviews yet — nor, as of this writing, does anyone else on this list.

Where we are stronger

A fair way to decide

  1. Do the official free sample tasks first. They define the exam.
  2. Take every free trial on this list — they cost nothing and each shows you that site's question quality and explanation style.
  3. Then buy the one whose explanations taught you something, with enough distinct timed papers to last until your test date.

Try before you decide

Our twelve free questions — one from each section at every level, with the full worked explanation on each — take about fifteen minutes.
